A common problem is that data sources cannot be connected to each other in order to gain insights from them.

In this article, I'll show you how you can combine multiple data sources in the free dashboard tool Google Data Studio to get an actionable picture of your SEO performance in Google. In a first assignment you combine two Google photo editor Search Console sources. In a second assignment you will work with data from Google Analytics, including data from Google Ads, data from Google Search Console and a Google Sheet with Google positions that are retrieved via an API from a ranking tool.



You are going to create a report in which you can select a page. Then all queries for which your site has appeared will appear. For each query, it shows, among other things, the last Google position and the number of leads generated and the conversion rate via Google Ads. Ideal for page by page SEO optimization. The end result looks like this: SEO dashboard created with Google Data Studio. Assignment 1. A basic organic dashboard with rankings High Google positions are not an indication of success.
